Sarah Vanbuskirk has over 20 years of experience as a writer and editor, covering a range of health, wellness, lifestyle, and family-related topics. She started out her career as a writer and editor at Willamette Week, a weekly newspaper in Portland, Oregon, and Mirabella, a women's fashion magazine in New York City.

Since then, Sarah has been a freelance journalist, editor, and content creator, writing for numerous online publications, magazines, and newspapers, including Glamour, Self, Parents, Fitness, Marie Claire, FashionWireDaily, TimeOut NY, GoLocalPDX, Seattle Weekly, Santa Fe Reporter, PDXparent, The Spruce, TripSavvy, Activity Connection, and Verywell Fit. 

Sarah is also a photographer, producer, and stylist who has collaborated on numerous photoshoots and video projects for major advertising campaigns, stock photo libraries, and editorial projects.

Education

Sarah has a dual degree in Art History and Political Science as well as a Certificate of Women’s Studies from Duke University.
