Nancy Ehrlich Lapid is a former writer for Verywell Fit covering celiac disease.  Nancy graduated from the State University of New York at Stony Brook with a BA in economics. She was a Science Writing Fellow at the Marine Biological Laboratory in Wood's Hole, Massachusetts.
