Mia earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Science Physiology and Metabolism from the University of California, Berkeley and Master of Science degree in Human Nutrition from Columbia University. She completed over 1,200 of supervised practice in clinical nutrition at the Medical University of South Carolina before earning her Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential.
