Marlo Mittler. MS, RD, is a former writer for Verywell Fit covering pediatric, adolescent, and family nutrition. Marlo is currently an Adolescent Medicine Dietitian at North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System Cohen Children’s Medical Center, as well as the Head Dietitian at the Outpatient Day Program for Adolescents with Eating Disorders.

Her company, Nutrition By Marlo, works with camps to create and revise menus at camps to provide healthy kid-friendly meals. Additionally, she works with these camps to provide options for those with food allergies, teaches food/cooking safety and to secure new foods to meet their needs while at camp. She has also served as a nutrition expert in the national media on television, in radio, magazines, and online publications such as Health & Fitness, Newsday, Long Island’s Parents & Children Magazine, and Cookie Magazine.
