Lainey believes life is too short to diet. As a Registered Dietitian, her mission is to provide evidence-based nutrition recommendations to help people ditch diets, change their habits, and create a healthy lifestyle that lasts. Through her private practice, she helps women lose weight in a sustainable way, as well as change their relationship with food. She's been featured in Healthline, Eat This, Not That, The Huffington Post, NBC News, EatingWell, and more. She enjoys writing about a variety of nutrition topics including weight loss, gut health, pregnancy, breastfeeding, and various diets. When she's not writing or counseling, you can find her on a run, out to brunch, or with coffee in hand trying to keep up with her two little boys.

Education

Lainey obtained her Bachelor's in Food Science - Nutrition and Dietetics from Clemson University and a Master's in Nutrition Communication from the Tufts Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy. She completed her dietetics training at Massachusetts General Hospital, a Harvard teaching hospital.
