Ever since discovering yoga in the early 90s, I knew it would be my passion. I have been teaching yoga for over 20 years now and I love helping people learn to connect their minds and bodies through their breath. I hope to share my expertise with as many people as I can and I'm honored to be a part of the Verywell team.
Kristin McGee received her certification to teach yoga upon graduating with her BFA from the Tisch School of the Arts. She soon became one of the most sought-after and recognized yoga instructors in the city. Throughout her career, Kristin has been a pioneer in making yoga more accessible. Kristin has starred in yoga DVDs and even choreographed and led the first MTV Yoga and Pilates DVD series.
Kristin has privately trained celebrities, was the contributing yoga and health editor for Health magazine for 10 years, and published the book Chair Yoga: Sit, Stretch, and Strengthen Your Way To A Happier, Healthier You through HarperCollins. Kristin is a full-time working mom of three boys and realizes the value of mindful movement and meditation. She currently teaches yoga and meditation for Peloton.
Kristin received her BFA from New York University Tisch School of the Arts. She is also certified in yoga, Pilates, personal training, and meditation.
