Registered Dietitian

Texas Tech, University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center

Kaleigh McMordie, MCN, RDN, LD, is a registered dietitian in Lubbock, Texas specializing in intuitive eating and the non-diet approach. She believes that all foods have a place in the diet and that food should be a source of joy as well as a source of nourishment, not a source of stress. She works with local and virtual clients in her private practice to free them from the diet mentality and establish a healthy relationship with food and body.

As a food blogger and culinary expert, Kaleigh develops easy, healthy, and delicious recipes on her blog, Lively Table. She loves to use fresh, seasonal ingredients in her recipes, from main dishes to cocktails and treats. She doesn’t believe in eliminating food groups or that fancy ingredients are necessary for nutritious meals! Kaleigh has developed recipes for Verywell, Healthline, True Food Kitchen, and many food and culinary brands.

Kaleigh graduated from Texas Tech University with a bachelor’s degree in nutrition science and dietetics. There, she also interned with the Texas Tech Athletics.

She completed her master’s degree in clinical nutrition and her dietetic internship at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, where she interned with UT Southwestern Clements University Hospital, Zale Lipshy University, Children’s Medical Center, and Parkland Memorial Hospital.
