The company says: "Every week, our stores and showrooms push their products aside, unroll yoga mats and turn their spaces into instant yoga studios. Classes are complimentary and led by instructors from local studios in your community." Free Classes and Events at Lululemon The best part of the free yoga classes at Lululemon is that they have specific classes for certain types of yoga and abilities. A quick look at the offerings shows options for families, men only, and couples. There are classes for beginner, intermediate, and advanced yogis, as well as classes for different types of yoga, and classes that emphasize certain postures. Besides free yoga classes, some Lululemon stores also offer free retreats and other special events in their communities, such as social events especially for women or families. Note that due to Covid-19 precautions, some events may be cancelled, rescheduled, or changed to a virtual (online) format. Some Lululemon stores also offer other free fitness events, including running clubs, indoor cycling classes, and meditation nights. How to Find a Lululemon Class To find out when your local Lululemon hosts free yoga classes, visit the Lululemon Community and select your country, and then your city and area. Lululemons are all over the world, so if you don't live in the United States, these free yoga classes could still be an option for you. You also can filter the free events by type of event and date of the event. All of the events can then be sorted by featured, even name, city, and date if you'd like. Click on an event to read more details including the date and time and a description of the event. Many Lululemon stores have their own Facebook pages that list the free classes and other events they'll be hosting. This is an easy way to stay updated on the events near you. Other Free Yoga Classes If you don't have a Lululemon store in your area, it's still possible to find a free yoga class. Contact local yoga studios to see if they offer free or discounted classes for first-time visitors. You also can do an online search for free yoga classes in your city. You may find some free classes or yoga-inspired events hosted by your local recreation department or library. If you can't find a free yoga class near you, practice your yoga at home with free yoga videos (Lululemon has its own YouTube channel). Or meet some friends in a park to host your own yoga class. Your Complete Guide to Starting an At-Home Yoga Practice History of Lululemon Lululemon Athletica began in 1998 in Vancouver as a design studio by day and a yoga studio by night.
