Dana is the nutrition expert for FoodNetwork.com and co-creator of the HealthyEats Blog. She has served on advisory boards for Applegate, Chobani and Healthy Happy Kids. She was a consultant for Follow Productions on seasons 2 and 3 of Bobby Deen’s show, Not My Mama’s Meals and has worked as a media spokesperson Hidden Valley’s Love Your Veggies Program and Cooking Light Magazine. She has made appearances on Good Day Street Talk, FoodNetwork.com, Access Hollywood, ABC Nightly News, NBC Connecticut, GMA Health and New York Live and is a regular contributor to the Better Connecticut show.
Dana is the sports dietitian and assistant clinical faculty in the department of Athletic Training and Sports Medicine at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. She is an active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics as well as the National Athletic Trainers Association. She conducts workshops and cooking demonstrations for fitness organizations, corporate settings and schools.

She is the author of a series of e-cookbooks for MySportsRD. Her family cookbook First Bites: Superfoods for Babies and Toddlers was released in February 2015 and she followed up with the Healthy Air Fryer Cookbook in 2017.
As a practicing Certified Athletic Trainer, Dana provides emergency medicine and rehabilitation services to high school, college and professional athletes. She is also a CPR and First Aid instructor for the American Red Cross.
Dana earned her Master’s degree in nutrition education from Teachers’ College-Columbia University and her Bachelor’s degree from Quinnipiac University in Sports Medicine.
