Chrissy Carroll is a registered dietitian and certified personal trainer with more than 10 years of experience in the nutrition and fitness industry. She began her career in nutrition education, working in the public school setting for several years before branching out on an entrepreneurial path.
Today, Chrissy can be found running her food & fitness blog, acting as a nutrition communications consultant for food brands, and contributing as a freelance writer for several publications.
Much of her content is centered on running and triathlon—including training tips and nutrition advice for active women—as Chrissy is a marathoner and triathlete herself. Combining her professional and personal passions, earned her USAT Level I Triathlon Coach certification in 2016. She is also the author of Eat to Peak: Sports Nutrition for Runners and Triathletes.
Chrissy holds a bachelor's of nutrition science from Boston University and a master's of public health nutrition from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She is a registered dietitian and is licensed to practice in the state of Massachusetts. Chrissy also is a certified personal trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine and holds a Level I Triathlon Coach certification from USA Triathlon.
