Amy is a writer and editor with a passion for wellness. She has written for a variety of print and online media on complementary approaches to fitness and health and has spent over two decades leading fitness programs at non-profits and corporate centers. She enjoys sharing best practices and the latest programming considerations with wellness enthusiasts across the industry. When she isn’t writing, she is walking marathons, writing her first novel, and volunteering as a fitness instructor at her local Y.

My favorite fitness purchase is a TRX Suspension Trainer. After both instructing and
taking many types of classes over the years when our gym added TRX to the schedule,
I was hooked. Ten plus years later I still enjoy the variety it provides and that I can hang
it anywhere, from over a door to in a park.

Amy is a certified Group Fitness Instructor (GFI) through the American Council on Exercise (ACE). She has an M.S. in Health Promotion Management from Marymount University in Arlington Virginia and a B.S. in Business Management from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
