When Ally isn’t editing for The Weather Channel, she writes solutions-focused articles on developments in fitness, nutrition, mental health, relationship wellness, and medical research. In past roles, she's written about the barriers to food access and food deserts for Upworthy, and nutritional science explainers and workout plans for SheKnows. She has experience writing about specialized diets, including gluten-free and plant-based diets, and she has done her fair share of gluten-free baking and recipe experimentation.
