Dr. Fogoros is a retired board-certified cardiologist who practiced and taught clinical cardiology and directed cardiac electrophysiology at the University of Pittsburgh and Allegheny General Hospital. He is the former Chief Medical Advisor of Research and Development for Boston Scientific CRM and the former Chief Medical Officer for Corventis, Inc.
Dr. Fogoros has authored numerous books, including “Fogoros’ Electrophysiologic Testing,” “Antiarrhythmic Drugs: A Practical Guide,” "Fixing American Healthcare,” and “Open Wide and Say Moo!: The Good Citizens' Guide to Right Thoughts and Right Actions Under Obamacare,” and is the co-inventor of 19 awarded U.S. patents.
He received his doctorate in medicine from Ohio State University and did postgraduate medical training at the University of Pittsburgh and Stanford University.
Neurology and Cerebrovascular Disease
Dr. Chaves is board certified in cerebrovascular disease and neurology, with a subspecialty certification in vascular neurology. She's an accomplished figure in the neurology field, having written multiple peer-reviewed papers and studies. She has been involved in numerous research studies with a focus on stroke, multiple sclerosis, and other demyelinating disorders.
Dr. Chaves has also edited textbooks while serving as associate professor of neurology at Tufts Medical School, medical director of the Lahey Clinical Multiple Sclerosis Center, and co-director of neurology research for the Lahey Clinic.
Dr. Forman is board-certified in pediatrics and practices general pediatrics in addition to his role as a clinical educator. He is associate professor of pediatrics and environmental medicine and public health at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, pediatric residency program director and vice-chair for education in the Jack and Lucy Clark Department of Pediatrics, and an active fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Forman is also a national expert in pediatric environmental health, having served as a member of the AAP Committee on Environmental Health, which provides policy guidance and promotes educational activities for pediatricians across the country.
Dr. Gallagher, board-certified in dermatology, is a practicing dermatologist, clinical professor, and active fellow of multiple medical organizations, including the American Medical Association, American Academy of Dermatology, and the American Contact Dermatitis Society.
Dr. Gallagher teaches in the Department of Dermatology at the University of Colorado in Denver. He has co-authored textbook chapters and has been published in the New England Journal of Medicine and the American Journal of Contact Dermatitis.
Dr. Gans is passionately involved in the practice and teaching of psychotherapy. He is board certified in psychiatry and an active supervisor, teacher, and mentor in the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH)/McLean Adult Psychiatry Residency Training Program and in their Program in Psychodynamics (PIP). A graduate of the Boston Psychoanalytic Society and Institute, he is a supervisor and mentor in their Advanced Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Training Program. He also serves as a psychotherapist attending to the Pavilion program at McLean Hospital.
Gans was a psychiatric consultant for the Laurel Hill Inn Eating Disorders Treatment Program and served as the clinical challenges editor for the Harvard Review of Psychiatry. He has previously been named to “Best Doctors” by Boston Magazine.
Internal Medicine and Rheumatology
Dr. Hughes is board certified in rheumatology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is head of rheumatology at Seattle's Harborview Medical Center, director of the University of Washington’s (UW) Rheumatology Training Program, and an associate professor at UW’s School of Medicine. There, he holds the Robert F. Willkens, MD - Lucile T. Henderson Endowed Professorship in Rheumatology.
Dr. Hughes has twice received the UW Medicine PRAISE Award for patient satisfaction and his research continues to be supported by the NIH, Leap for Lupus, and more. He has written extensively on the topic of reproductive hormones and autoimmune rheumatic diseases in various journals.
Dr. Jelic is board certified in sleep medicine, critical care medicine, pulmonary disease, and internal medicine. She is a Herbert Irving assistant professor of medicine and attending physician in the Division of Pulmonary, Allergy, and Critical Care Medicine at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York. She is also an active member of the American Thoracic Society, the Association of Professionals Sleep Society USA, and the American Federation for Medical Research.
She completed her residency in internal medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York and her fellowship in pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center.
Dr. Ludwig is board certified in gastroenterology and hepatology. She serves as associate attending physician in the Gastroenterology and Nutrition Service of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York as well as associate professor of medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine. She is also the co-director of the gastroenterology fellowship program at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and director of education in its division of gastroenterology as well as a constant supervisor of fellows, residents, and medical students. In addition, Dr. Ludwig is an active member of the American Gastroenterology Association, the American Society for Gastroenterology, the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases, and New York Society for Gastroenterology.
Ludwig graduated from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, where she was elected to the medical honor society Alpha Omega Alpha. She remained at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center where she completed her internship and residency in internal medicine. Following her residency, she completed a fellowship in gastroenterology, hepatology, and nutrition at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
Internal Medicine/HIV Primary Care
Dr. Olender is assistant professor of medicine at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City, where she is also on staff in the Division of Infectious Disease, specializing in HIV primary care. She also co-founded the first medical-student-operated free clinic in Manhattan at NYU’s School of Medicine.
Dr. Olender completed her residency at Columbia University Medical Center and her post-residency training through the New York State Nicholas Rango HIV Clinical Scholars Program. She went on to complete a master's degree in epidemiology at the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health.
Dr. Paul is board certified in internal medicine, medical oncology, and hematology. He is currently assistant professor of clinical medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College and attending physician in the Department of Hematology Oncology at the New York Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center. Dr. Paul received his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, Romania and also earned a master’s degree in the biology of aging from the Faculty of Paris VI, France. In addition, he holds a PhD in clinical oncology from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Craiova, Romania. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the Jacobi Hospital in New York and his fellowship in hematology and oncology at Montefiore Hospital in New York.
Dr. Sadaty, board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, is an OB/GYN at North Shore University Hospital, clinical assistant professor at Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine, and has been teaching residents at Northwell's Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology for the past 20 years. Her practice, Redefining Health Medical, is one of the few that incorporates functional medicine.
Prior to completing residency, Dr. Sadaty spent two years in research at the Rockefeller University Department of Biochemistry and at Cornell University Medical College Department of Surgical Research. She completed her medical school training at Cornell University, graduating with honors, and her residency at North Shore University Hospital.

Rachel has been with the company since 2011 and is one of the go-to voices in the field of nutrition, with numerous appearances on “The Today Show,” “Fox and Friends,” and many other media outlets. She is the author of two books, “Boosting Your Metabolism for Dummies” and “Mediterranean Diet for Dummies.” As a registered dietitian, she is passionate about providing practical and science-based information related to nutrition, weight loss, and health.
Rachel received her bachelor’s degree in nutritional sciences from Cornell University and completed her dietetic internship at Northwell Health (previously North Shore-LIJ Health System) in New York.

Prior to joining Dotdash, Neil was the Founder and CEO of Recognition Media, a creator and producer of award shows and media properties for digital, creative, and advertising communities, including the Webby Awards, the Telly Awards, and Internet Week New York and Europe.
Before starting Recognition Media, Neil was Chief Corporate Development Officer at Alloy Media + Marketing, a digital content and marketing services company focused on the teen and youth market. Neil also serves as a venture partner at FirstMark Capital. Neil received a B.S. in Finance from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
Chief Financial Officer & Head of Strategy
Tim is the Chief Financial Officer of Dotdash and joined the company in January 2015. Prior to joining Dotdash, Tim was CFO of Axial, an online professional network that helps entrepreneurs and small businesses access capital.
Tim spent more than a decade with American Express where he was a Senior Vice President of Finance and Operations at Vente Privee USA, an e-commerce joint venture between American Express and Vente-Privee Europe. He spent the majority of his time at American Express as a Vice President in the Corporate Development Group where he sourced, executed, and monitored equity investments and M&A transactions supporting all of American Express' global business lines.
Tim started his career in middle market investment banking at Ladenburg Thalmann and, prior to that, in private equity at Wade Capital. He graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce.
Chief Operating Officer
Alex Ellerson is the Chief Operating Officer for Dotdash. Before joining the company, Alex served as the General Counsel and Chief Operating Officer at Howcast, a leading producer of high-quality, low-cost, online how-to videos. Prior to joining Howcast, Alex was the Head of Entertainment and Premium Content Partnerships for Google Video and YouTube and earlier, a General Manager and Senior Director of Business Development at Yahoo!, working on both Yahoo’s Media and Entertainment and Search teams.
He was also the COO and General Counsel for CMJ (host of the annual CMJ Music Marathon conference), an associate at the law firm of Cravath, Swaine & Moore, and a law clerk to the honorable Amalya L. Kearse (U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit).

Andrew Gorenstein is President of Advertising and Partnerships for Dotdash and joined the company in December 2016. Before joining Dotdash, Andrew held executive roles as the President of Media and Advertising and Chief Revenue Officer for Gawker Media, where he led the revenue team and created an award-winning product suite to sell across their multiple vertical brands. Prior to Gawker Media, he held sales leadership roles at Condé Nast and Forbes.
Andrew has worked aggressively to accelerate, and ultimately redefine and align, the relationship between advertisers, brands and publishers. In 2013, he was named one of AdAge’s 40 under 40. Andrew received his Bachelor’s Degree in History from Boston University.
President Dotdash Finance
Dr. Jon Roberts oversees the finance media properties at Dotdash (Investopedia and The Balance). He has been with Dotdash since 2013 and previously held roles as Chief Innovation Officer and Head of Data Science, where he derived insights from more than 20 years of Internet data across thousands of topics.
Prior to joining the company, he spent 10 years as a theoretical physicist focused on making dark matter predictions for the hadron collider at CERN and cosmic ray predictions for the AMS detector on the space station. He also worked on the Pierre Auger telescope in Argentina. Dr. Roberts received his Ph.D at the University of Southampton and his M.A. from the University of Oxford.
Chief Technology Officer
Nabil Ahmad is the Chief Technology Officer for Dotdash. Before joining the company in 2013, Nabil worked at Barnes & Noble serving as the head of technology for BarnesAndNoble.com. A career long engineer, Nabil’s experience includes consulting during the dotcom boom, working at healthcare services and media companies, and being the first employee and head of technology at Kwiry Inc., a venture-backed mobile startup. Nabil received his B.A. in Molecular Cell Biology, with emphasis in Cell Developmental Biology, from the University of California at Berkeley.
Vice President, Communications
Meredith Worsham is Vice President of Communications for Dotdash. She has been with the company for nearly 10 years, working her way up from Account Coordinator to now Vice President, where she oversees media relations, strategy development, internal and external communications, and special events for one of the fastest growing digital media companies and its vertical brands.
Previously, Meredith held various public relations roles at MSL, a leading PR agency in New York, and worked on health accounts including Sanofi Aventis, Allergan, and Phillips Healthcare. She holds a B.A. in Communications with a minor in History from Elon University in North Carolina.
General Counsel & Corporate Secretary
Jeff Hartwig is the General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for Dotdash. Before joining Dotdash, Jeff spent six years at Dow Jones & Company, Inc. where he served as counsel to the digital and print production groups of The Wall Street Journal.
Prior to joining Dow Jones, Jeff was an associate attorney at the law firm Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, providing legal counsel to emerging businesses on their financing, intellectual property, and general corporate matters. Jeff holds a J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree in French from San Francisco State University. He is also a member of IAB’s Legal Affairs Council.
Senior Vice President, Site Hosting & Operations
Rob Brathwaite is Senior Vice President of Operations at Dotdash. He also oversees IAC Publishing's global shared services team. Starting at the company in 1996, he is the longest tenured team member.
Robert has been instrumental to bringing about change at Dotdash over the past two decades. He holds both a B.S.c and M.S.c in Information Systems and Management from New York University.

Colleen Gangl is the VP of People for Dotdash, joining the company in 2018. Colleen brings over 15 years of experience in her field across multiple industries, including retail, technology, and digital media.
